Tummy Time

Well, just stopped to add a few pictures before I am off to cook dinner. The kids were adorable last evening when I put Audrey on the floor for "Tummy Time". They all got down and layed together on the floor.

Why can't they always be this cute? Mason just locked his bedroom door and shut it. This is a new trick we have recently learned to keep from cleaning up. Third time this week. I guess I will have to take the door knob off.

Enjoy the pics!

Another Week

We survived yet another week. Somehow I knew we would. I took the kids on Friday to Penney's to get their pictures taken. All I can say is that poor lady earned her money that day. Gracie was the perfect little model. Mason did really well while he had the camera to himself. Audrey was hungry. She didn't care about having her picture taken one bit. I can only hope she will be more cooperative when I take her for her 6 month pics.

When it came to trying to get all 3 of them to look at the camera at the same time...let's just say it was interesting. Mason didn't want to hold Audrey. Audrey wouldn't sit up. and Gracie just wanted to stare at Audrey. We finally got one that I decided was good enough, and called it a morning.

All in all it has been a pretty uneventful week. Huck is getting to know us better. He is doing OK with the potty training. Only a couple of accidents. I took Mason with me to the grocery store yesterday while David was home with the two sleeping beauties, Gracie & Audrey. Mason said, " Why is Gracie so sleepy today?" I said I don't know. He said, " I know why Gracie is so sleepy! She had too many carbs." I said what. He said she had too many carbs. I just nodded and said OK. I think he has seen one too many infomercials. :)
Hopefully this week will be just as uneventful.

Turtle?

Ok, this was too funny not to share. Each one of the kids has been given an animal nickname when they were little. Gracie was a Turtle because she pulled her arms and legs into outfits when she was an infant. Mason is a Bear because he has always been big and cuddly like a teddy bear and Audrey is a little duck because when she hiccups she sounds like a little rubber duck.

Now, that said, check out this video of Gracie. This is what I found when I came around the corner last evening.

Welcome to Our Blog

Well, here it is. My first blog. I have no clue exactly what I am doing, but I figured it can't hurt. I decided we needed a blog for our family when I got tired of sending out family update emails. This way, everyone can just click and see what is going on in our lives. Including Pictures of course.

Well, recently it hasn't been to eventful. I say that it hasn't been to eventful for me. The kids and the baby our doing great. Audrey only gets up twice a night...which is an improvment. Gracie got a new bike. We are trying to make time to get outside and ride it, but with 3 kids it is kind of hard. Mason got his room clean and has kept it that way for 2 days. That is a major accomplishment! I am thinking about buying the kid a trophey. His room has seriously never stayed clean that long in his life.

We also got a puppy! He is a beagle named Huckleberry. We call him Huck. Mason just screams. He loves him. He will just love him more when he is bigger. Mason likes big dogs, not little ones. Gracie absolutly adores him, however when he starts running through the house finding everything in site to chew on she says, "This puppy is exhausting!" I completley agree! He is cute and adorable, but a handful. Being a parent you learn that sometimes you just bite the bullet and do some things for your kids. Whether they are enjoyable for you or not. This is one of them. I personally think that it is harder taking care of a puppy than it is a baby. Atleast a baby wears diapers! :)

Well, hopefully if all goes well, I will take the kids to get their pictures taken next week. I have to try to find something for them all to wear. I just hope the people at Penney's know what they are in for! I am going to figure out how to add pictures to this thing, and post them.

Take care!
